From June 28 to July 5, 2025 we are showing an exhibition of works by Tim Berresheim entitled “Aquensien neu beäugt”.
The exhibition will open on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 7 pm in the presence of the artist in the Galerie Am Elisengarten.
Tim Berresheim (born 1975 in Heinsberg) is a protagonist of contemporary visual, computer-aided art. He studied at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf with Albert Oehlen and at the HBK Braunschweig with Johannes Brus. He lives and works as an artist, musician, label and project space operator in Aachen.
In his work, which is produced by means of digital image generation, Berresheim deals with the effects of digital technologies on visual culture, living and working conditions, modes of perception and cognition.
For our exhibition, he has selected a series of studies with city views of Aachen, which are based on laser scan data recorded by the artist and place striking places/spaces from the Aachen cityscape in new contexts. The works, each measuring 40 x 56 cm (resin and pigment on paper), are conceived as exclusive individual pieces.
