Ceramics

The production of vessels and sculptures from ceramic materials is of great cultural and historical significance. Chinese porcelain, the terracotta armies, Greek vase paintings, Roman ceramic mosaics, the majolica and faience techniques of the European Renaissance and Delft ceramics were followed in the 18th century by the first porcelain manufactories and stoneware factories. Towards the end of the 19th century, the first modern art ceramics emerged under East Asian influence.

Our range includes a finely curated selection of original objects.

Oiseau au ver, 1952

Pablo Picasso
