Finding Venice | Juergen Klueck

Opening Friday, 23 August, 7 pm

Forms and colours in fleeting movements, individual elements transformed into a dynamic structure, reality only recognizable in echoes ... Juergen Klueck breaks with classical motif ideals of photography.

Time, space and movement are the playing field of the Selm-born photographer. Instead of static motifs that remain in a moment, as is otherwise typical of photography, he combines several moments and plays with technical refinements. At such a high artistic level, his photographs are often first perceived as paintings - or the assumption is made that it is a computer-modified photograph. Both assumptions can be denied and once again underline the artistic skill of the 67-year-old, who, incidentally, is a lateral entrant - an extremely successful one.

His works have already been shown in solo and group exhibitions in Muenster, Cologne and Mallorca, and have been successfully sold in collections.

As the title of the exhibition "Finding Venice | Juergen Klueck" already reveals, the selected exhibits of the exhibition in our gallery have a special relationship to the city of Venice.

Are you curious yet? Then visit us at the vernissage on Friday, 23 August 2019, 7 pm and let us take you into strange - and yet familiar - worlds!
